Japan Koi Export (JKX) is a well-established company based in Ojiya City, which is in the very heartland of Japanese Koi.  JKX specialises in supplying koi, whether Console or hand picked, around the world from the leading breeders here in Niigata.  We arrange buying trips for you to personally select koi from the breeders, and tours.  We work closely with the breeders to promote koi from here in Niigata to around the world. One such way is our Koi Master Class, which is now in its 10th year.

JKX was formed to bring the very best Niigata koi to people at the very lowest possible prices, or "farm prices" as we call it.  We are not agents, or “middle men” who visit this area a couple of times a year, but we are working in Niigata on a daily basis - working side by side with many of the breeders.  This long-term close friendship and business relationship with the breeders gives us a unique inside knowledge to the best koi available. Over the years, customers of JKX have come to appreciate this close relationship, and many therefore return year after year.  For you to be satisfied is something we strive for - something that is certainly also the “Japanese Way”.
