No real introduction is necessary for Miyaishi Koi Farm. One of the most magnificent facility's and well known farms in all Japan, it is located at the lower end of the mountains leading into Yamakoshi. A family steeped in Nishikigoi tradition, a vast range of all varieties of high quality koi await all koi buyers.

A warm welcome awaits all who come. Koi of all sizes and varieties are normally available. The family has been involved in koi for nearly 100 years, started by Tokuzo Miya's father Ishitaro, and from those early beginnings a true koi dynasty has evolved. 

Tokuzo Miya has been at the forefront of advancing the Japanese koi industry as we see it today. The founder member with Miyakoya of the Shinkokai organization which is now the worlds largest koi trade organization to developing his own brand of koi food, which is used extensively throughout Japan by breeders and their own range of medicine and health products for koi too.

And of course in the development of  koi too, they have won numerous koi prizes at all the leading koi shows in Japan dating back to the 1960's right up to koi shows in 2005. A true example of their dedication to rearing quality koi. His knowledge, respect and advice is always sort after by Nishikigoi breeders. But most of all the whole Miya family are truly very nice people who love koi.

Without a doubt one of the very best collections of high quality koi of all varieties will be found at their facility. They cater for all grades of koi, during the spring up to 50,000 tosai will be in the fish houses, a total of 14 different varieties on offer. Large numbers of 2, 3, 4 and Jumbo koi are also available and all through JKX.

In the autumn after harvesting the 70 mud ponds a huge selection of koi are available to suit everyone's needs.
