GENERAL TOURS

Of course the main reason you visit us is to buy koi and visit the breeders farms here in Niigata. But over the last 15 years of doing this we have come to realize that the things we see, do and take for granted on a regular basis here in Japan are so different and special that we often get asked if we could offer a more different type of tour for people who only wanted to visit the breeders farms and not buy koi or visit places of interest in the area. So we started arranging 1 or 2 day trips  for people just wanting to experience Japanese culture in a way that they would not normally do or see on a normal holiday to Japan.

Depending on the time of year and events we can arrange day trips to:

• Visiting koi breeders and mountain views in Yamakoshi and Mushigame

• Places of interest in Ojiya: Koi Museum

• Special events like Bull fighting

• Hanabi (Firework displays and festival)

• Famous gardens and parks

• Visit koi hobbyists ponds and gardens

• Coastal trip to the Sea of Japan ( fish market)

• Stay at mountain hotel with Onsen ( hot natural Japanese bath) and traditional Japanese dinner.
